The images found on our site were taken in the Orkney Islands, an archipelago in the Northern Isles of Scotland, and in the Outer Hebrides, an 130 mile long archipelago that lies about 40 miles off the Northwest coast of Scotland. The Scottish Isles have been inhabited for at least 5,000 years and are rife with important prehistoric sites including the great megalithic stone circle at Callanish and the Standing Stones at Stennes. I find the rugged splendor of the isolated, windswept scenery a metaphor for the landscape of the asset management industry. The climate is wild and the wind fierce but a strong, solid foundation will last almost indefinitely.
